An original D&D 5e (2014) story
Welcome to River Creek, a bustling frontier town at the edge of known civilization on the expansive, unexplored planet Dirt. Magic and non-human magical entities are mere myths in this completely mundane world… At least for now.
Your life was as normal and boring as it could possibly be.... Until you and a handful of other regular folks encounter a mysterious robed man who zaps you to another dimension. There you find you now have magical powers and are no longer human beings. You and your new posse embark on a wild adventure to find your way home, along the way making new friends, encountering strange enemies, and learning about a much greater threat to this world and your own.
Everything from this moment onward will change everything you know about your world, the universe, magic, and yourself. How will you react to your world filling with magic? Who - and what - will you become?

This is a long form original campaign designed for 3-6 players.
The technology level for the world is "wild west" though this term is used loosely and is not intended to be 100% historically accurate.
PCs will start out as humans discovering the fantastical powers that come with their chosen class, and then after a few sessions will transform to the race of their choice (or remain human).
Gameplay will take place online using Discord and Roll20. A microphone is required.
