You never really thought much about why sorcerers were so rare in Somni - until one day you meet a crying mother whose child was removed from society by secret police. Moved by their tears and the incredible injustice of locking children away, you vow to help this mother get their child back... And in doing so you discover a larger conspiracy that threatens the very existence of the world as you know it.

Welcome to Somni, a lush island continent teeming with life, magic, and technology. In this world magic is so commonplace that technology has evolved alongside it, and virtually every trade, tool, and toy involve the use of magic in some capacity. However, natural magic users - sorcerers - are looked upon with fear and distrust, their inherent connection to the magic flowing freely through Somni considered uncontrolled and dangerous.
